My name is Annette, and I am a 30-year old wife, mother, & fitness instructor! 


I have a few credentials:

*B.S. in Exercise Science : Fitness and Wellness Management, with a Minor in Nutritional Science <—completed personal training courses during this time as well

*M.S. in Exercise Science : Health Promotion

*Certified Group Fitness Instructor (formats: BODYPUMP, Zumba, CXWORX, GRIT, BODYATTACK, PiYo, Pilates, Water Aerobics)

*Certified Wellness Coach (through NESTA)

*I was a Personal Health Coach for a large, national insurance company for 2.5 years, before becoming a stay-at-home mom

*I’m a virtual Disordered Eating Recovery/Fitness Coach at this very website

*I placed in the top 20 (for my age group) for a marathon in 2008 (see my races here)

*I completed a Half IronMan Triathlon in August 2012


I love to workout, coach & instruct fitness classes, dance, help others achieve THEIR potential, and motivate people to live a happy, healthy life. I am truly my most happy when I am teaching, training, & coaching.

Hence why the Fitness Perks, LLC Coaching Services were born!


After struggling with disordered eating, exercise addictions, yo-yo dieting, sugar binges, anorexia/bulimia tendencies, and dancing my way through it all, I have come to peace with what health really means.

I am a wife, mother, dancer, swimmer, & fitness instructor who loves to read, ski, be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, watch movies, hike, sleep under the stars, laugh, and be with family & friends.

My husband is stellar, and I feel blessed to be married to him.


I adore being a mother to our sweet Lily. <3
