My name is Annette, and I am a 20-something, newlywed; and a fitness/health/nutrition and wellness guru!

*B.S. in Exercise Science : Fitness and Wellness Management, with a Minor in Nutritional Science <—completed personal training courses during this time as well
*M.S. in Exercise Science : Health Promotion (done!)
*Certified Group Exercise Instructor (formats include BodyPUMP, Zumba, CXWORX, GRIT, PiYo, Pilates, Swimming, Weight Training, Water Aerobics)
*Personal Trainer and Certified Wellness Coach (through NESTA)
*Personal Health Coach for a huge, national insurance company <—full-time day job

I love to workout, dance, help others achieve THEIR potential, and motivate people to live a happy, healthy life. I am truly my most happy when I am teaching, training, & coaching.
Hence why the Fitness Perks, LLC Coaching Services were born!
After struggling with disordered eating, exercise addictions, yo-yo dieting, sugar binges, anorexia/bulimia tendencies, and dancing my way through it all, I have come to peace with what health really means.
I am a dancer, runner, swimmer, Pilates guru, BodyPUMP/Zumba/CXWORX/GRIT certified instructor, who loves to read, swim, ski, be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, watch movies, hike, sleep under the stars, laugh, be with family & friends, and most of all, spend quality time with my amazing husband.
I totally LOVE my huge family!! (however, not all enjoy being featured on the blog)
And my husband is the bombdotcom. Seriously
More of me in a nutshell:
- I love lifting weights, eating caramel, watching funny youtube movies, sleeping, reading books, watching movies, hanging out with my amazing friends, taking vacations, swimming, foam rolling, sitting in the sun, praying, wearing anything pink or sparkly, taking hot showers, eating ice cream or fro yo, buying fitness apparel & wearing said stuff to teach in, traveling, stretching, enjoying Cafe Rio with my husband, and so much more!
