Weekend Highlights {Anniversary Date Night}

Hiiiii everyone!

A very happy Monday to us! And happy Cinco de Mayo too. We’re going to eat chips and salsa tonight for sure! ;)

****

This weekend was full of awesomeness. There was one kinda sad part though…baby Lily got a slight fever. I think it’s from teething because she seemed ‘fine’ other than she had a fever. Upside to that all: I got lots of extra cuddles on Sunday!

Rewind back to Friday, and let’s share some photos from our awesome weekend and our epic adventure!

Weekend Highlights {Anniversary Date Night}

weekend highlights

Taught Zumba // baby was at gymcare

Our lovely, romantic anniversary dinner began!

{earlier I had dropped off baby L with grandma so she could be with her for the whole evening, night, and morning (!!!!!)}

Picked up my little one!

And headed to a bridal shower where she met a super fun friend!

weekend highlights

Her new friend’s mom is my friend!

{fun fact: we were due the same day…she had her baby early and I had mine way way way late, so they’re almost a month apart. haha!}

weekend highlights

Planted our flowers!! Love, love them.

weekend highlights

Church. With lipgloss/lipstick to match my necklace. ;)

linking up with Katie because it was all pretty marvelous

What a fantastic weekend overall! Baby L’s fever has gone down by the way (essential oils & a bit of tylenol seemed to help), so hopefully we can kick this all in the butt. She really was a champ handling the fever, but it was sad to see her a bit not herself. :(

Have a GREAT start to your week!! <3

What were some of YOUR weekend highlights??! Have YOU seen Captain America??! Do YOU always have room for ice cream/gelato/fro yo or not so much (like my husband)???!

  4. Yes, all about the superhero movies this weekend! We saw Spider-Man 2 for date night Friday. So good! Captain America was also really good, saw that a few weeks ago. I love the back story, makes it more enjoyable for me, since I’m not as naturally-inclined to love superhero movies as the husband is :)
