How are you this fine Thursday?
Things are good here, yesterday Lily didn’t want to nap on her own though, so most of my day was spent with her in my arms. Which is a wonderful way to simply slow down & enjoy the moments with my little doll. <3
We also read stories, and I did get a HIIT workout (wearing my Koss FitClips) in during one of her good naps.
Evil Doesn’t Win
In 2 days it marks the 1-year date from that horrible tragedy in Sandy Hook. Many children (and a couple of adults) lost their lives when a young boy decided to shoot them all.
It is so so sad. My heart goes out to all those affected. <3
I came upon this beautiful video from one of the little victims’ mother. It brought me to tears and I just had to share!
It brings out a lot of emotion-anger, sadness, fear, hope. But it really makes me realize that evil didn’t win then, and it won’t ever win. God’s goodness and the light we all have within us will create more hope & love, and that always, always beats any evil that people decide to create.
Please watch it–it is so beautiful & sends a message to us all: love, hope, goodness will WIN. Every time. And always.
If the video doesn’t work above, find it at this link.
We get to decide what we do; we all have our agency to choose (that is a God given right to all), so what will we choose? Each day, every day? Will we choose good over evil? Will we choose to be kind, loving, and good?
- I am thankful for boots. They help me steer clear of the piles of snow while holding the baby carrier!
- I am grateful that medical bills (for baby/delivery) weren’t as much as I thought they’d be. Phew!
- I am thankful for people who choose to love, to do good, and to be thankful. They are such inspirations to me!
Have a WONDERFUL day! <3
