What I’m Loving Lately

I am excited about today–it’s going to be a good day, I can just feel it.

I thought I’d just share some things I’ve been loving lately….enjoy reading this because I enjoy having them in my life. 😉

What I’m Loving Lately

1. Wearing Slippers.

It’s cold here, so wearing slippers at home is a MUST.

Love my black fuzzy ones from Steve Madden.

2. TJ’s Sunflower Seed Butter.

‘Nuff said, eh?

P.s. it’s on the floor because sometimes I eat snacks while working (duh), and I like to work on my stomach for a few hours.

#Weirdo {I’ve always loved lying on my stomach to do work/homework. I hhhaaattteeee sitting in a chair. Hate it.}

Like I said. Weirdo.

3. Nike Shoes.

I usually have 3 pairs that I use in rotation. I was done with a pair a few weeks back, and another pair is almost done.

So I did what any girl would do, I hightailed myself to the shoe store, tried on these 5 (and 3 more), and then I bought THREE pairs.



Well, with my fitness workouts though, I kinda need good shoes.

4. Sweet Potato Chips.


SOOO good! They’re salty, crunchy, and filling. I need to go buy some more. So worth the price to me for a good chip!

5. My pvbody Pants (and top).

More to come about this next week, but ohhhhhhhh do I love my new pvbody pants. Like LOVE.

Like I want to marry them.

(Shhhhh don’t tell my husband).

They fit awesome, they look awesome (in my opinion), and they move with me awesomely.

6. BodyPUMP, GRIT, and CXWORX (learning & teaching these formats)


Freaking love it. All.

Tomorrow I relaunch BodyPUMP -(release 84). And, yah, I have to finish learning it all….tonight! Can’t wait!

Just launched GRIT this week (my whole body is still hurtin’), and CXWORX launches next week.

7.Pomegranate Arils.

By the, ummmm, well, pomegranate.


Not kidding, I’ve consumed more pomegranates this week than probably most consume in a year.


8. Green Smoothies.

Thanks to my new blendtec, I’ve had a green smoothie almost every day since then!

I throw in pretty much anything–oranges, spinach, berries, almond milk, protein powder, pomegranate arils, stevia, broccoli, yada yada.


And guess who else is loving ’em?

My husband!


As you can see, there are some delicious & wonderful things out there. Take a chance, make a change, and try something new this week so you can continue to develop a list that you’re loving. I love that my lists, for the most part, evolve!

  1. I’m OBSESSED with my pvbody pants, too!! Seriously, I wear them all.the.time!!! And you put broccoli in a smoothie?? Uhhh what?!?!

  2. I’m currently obsessed with oranges! Maybe it’s the Vitamin C or something, but I can’t get enough. Hopefully it keeps the nasty flu virus away, too. :)

  5. Gahhh I HATE sitting in a chair as well and with school starting soon, I am dreading the amount of time I have to do so! There is no option not to either and my anxiety excels to an ungodly level during the day. Any tips on this? haha, I have to learn how to deal with it somehow!
    Anyway, that TJ’s sunflower seed butter is so so good! I haven’t had it in a while though, time for a trip to Trader Joe’s and soon… always looking for an excuse to go there 😉

    • Do you have a planner? I planned in everything I had to do when I was in school–or have a to-do list. It keeps anxiety level lower 😉 Also, take small breaks to breathe, go on a walk, and eat a healthy snack. Always recharges the batteries! And try not to stick too much to your phone or social media–it can be draining when you have a lot to do.

  6. I’ve also been going through such a green smoothie phase! I’m wondering how I ever ate spinach without banana and peanut butter mixed in too.

  7. Yum! I think I need to try trader joes brand! I have had sun butter before and it’s great!

    Weeeee I am getting a blender this weekend, and your post is making me wanna jump up and get it right now!!!! I have been using a magic bullet for years and it’s just not the greatest item to blend up green smoothies, but I also can’t shell out the $$$ for a Rolls Royce blender like yours (you lucky gal you!!!) so I heard through friends that the Ninja is pretty good. SO i’m getting it tomorrow and can finally experience green smoothies and see what all the hoopla is about. yay!!!!!! so excited :) actually i had one at my gym and LOVED it, but when i tried it at home i realized why i needed a new blender… lol

  13. I still haven’t tried pomegranates but I’ve seen them all over blogs- I must try! Hmm the food I’m obsessed with at the moment would have to be the curry I whip up with my eggs. So good.

  14. I JUST posted about how I was looking for slippers! I think I need to seek those out now! They look super comfy. I at first hated sunflower seed butter, but it’s growing on me each time I try it again! Some foods are just weird like that.
