Happy New Year! Welcome to 2013

Happy New Year!

Hey hey! I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy New Year!

Love my man!

We are spending the week with my family up at a house in the mountains. And there is a LOT of snow!

We’ve been having a blast.

So much fun with every kind of toy! I think my husband & brothers & dad had just as much fun with these remote controlled trains.

Heh.

Last Day of 2012

I got my sweat on, baby.

I did my last workout of 2012 with my little sis!

I did GRIT & CXWORX & she did the stairs & elliptical. We ended with some jumping jacks & stretching.

Gosh, I feel blessed with a healthy body & great family. How did I get so lucky?!

I then ate such a good b-fast:

We spent the rest of 2012 hanging out, playing in the snow, eating good food, and just having a blast.

Such a great ending to a fantastic year!

And now……

Welcome to 2013. :)

I have resolutions for 2013, but I haven’t quite decided on the specifics. Ahhh well.

I do know these:

  • In 2013 I will get stronger in every major muscle group.
  • In 2013 I will get leaner.
  • In 2013 I will sculpt a better core.
  • In 2013 I will reach out to more people.
  • In 2013 I will strengthen all the relationships that matter to me.
  • In 2013 I will spend less time on electronics & more time with my husband & people I love.
  • In 2013 I will not let my being afraid keep me from pushing my limits–and those I teach! 😉 (lucky them, eh??)
  • In 2013 I will read at least 10 books for leisure.
  • In 2013 I will build every single one of my fitness classes! (aka getting as many people in there as possible for every class!)
  • In 2013 I will try harder to be calmer & live every moment to the fullest!

I am excited about 2013 and the beautiful new possibilities that await me!

  1. Actually I stayed up later than I thought I would…until 10:30!! UGH, when the doggie started to whine around 4:20 it pretty much felt like a hangover ….but I am not that….I am a girl that really needs her sleep. 😉

    Oh, well….your 2013 looks packed and you and hubby are as adorable as always.

    Resolutions??? This is THE YEAR!!! Nuf said! ha!

  5. My last workout of 2012 was 30 minutes on the stair climber and then a full body circuit that I threw together for myself, my sis, and her friend! I’m feeling it today!!

  6. I like the idea of reading more books for leisure in the coming year…I should really work on that too! When I was younger I would fly through 3-4 a month, but nowadays if I get 1 or 2 in every 6 months, I consider myself lucky. Definitely should work on upping that a little bit!

  8. Love your resolutions! I had two morning body step classes and that was my last workout for 2012, unless you count some dancing at the club just before midnight? Ha!
