Half IronMan Completed!

Good MORNING!

I did it.

I completed 70.3 miles! Half IronWOMAN, baby!!

(And in under 7 hours!)

There were amazing parts, super fun parts, parts where I thought I was going to die (no exaggeration there), and mind-blowing awesomeness parts.

{I’m the one waving}

But the BEST part of all?? I completed my 2 goals I had: I was thankful for the opportunity and DID enjoy (almost) every moment, and I FINISHED it.

3 things:

1. I will never ever do a full Ironman. EVER. So don’t even ask. 😉

2. Porta-potties have never been such a beautiful site.

3. My husband is the most amazing man on the earth. No question.

{Before the swim}

But more about that later–I have so many thoughts (and tons more pictures), but really wanted to enjoy my weekend totally away from ‘life’ & soaking it all in….so the recap post will be soon. PROMISE. {So sorry to leave you hanging with this teaser…}

Lastly, thank YOU for all your amazing comments, motivation, and kind words. You have NO idea just how much it meant to me to think about my awesome readers and how excited you all were for me to do this.

A goal was set, a lady determined, and a race OWNED.

Word.

Have a great Monday ya’all!

{I am off to teach BodyPUMP this a.m., work, and then teach Zumba tonight, so this should be, well, inttteerreessttinng. hah}

Peace <3

What is a goal YOU have set and OWNED recently?? What is something YOU did awesome over the weekend??

    The Oly Tri was amazing – it totally kicked my butt – but I loved every second of it. Strangely I did much better than I thought considering I had so many issues and stomach probelms before, but somehow I got through and finished. Now I know what NOT to do before a race over 2 hours long, LOL.
    Great job, you totally rock!!!!! :<3<3<3

I would be interested to know how you felt in BP this a.m. I ran 18 miles Saturday which is nothing compared to what you did and in my BP class this a.m., my legs were a bit on the tired side :-) Again, congratulations! Good stuff. Have a healthy day!
