Just Breathe

Hey, hey! I am back. Aren’t you so lucky, then?! :)

Did ya miss me?  (I bet you thought about me while doing the sweaty, tough total-body workout!) I was definitely MIA in the blog/twitter/pinterest/instagram/facebook worlds these past 4 days–and guess what?! It was AMAZING.

Don’t get me wrong, I love me some blog reading, instragramming, and pinning, but I love LIVING and being in nature, and actually stopping to breathe more.

What I mean is this: just breathe. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Forget about having to catch up on the last blog post, instagram picture, or Facebook status. Life will go on, I promise.

Oh, and skipping a workout, or even planning in rest time while in the midst of training for a race is SO fabulous. Just sayin’. 😉

Okay, so after checking out my photos and fun below, put the computer/phone away, and just breathe in the beauty of your life. :)

My sisters (I have 5) and my mom all gathered from 4 different states (UT, MO, CO, OH) at a cute condo in Dillon, Colorado–right outside Frisco, Breckenridge, & Silverthorne. It was a great location! (I missed Lauren by a week! Major bummer.)

We had a BLAST. We ate delicious meals, laughed a LOT, did 2 great hikes, shopped until we dropped at the outlets, cried some (we’re all criers–so I didn’t feel so lonely. Hah.), ate ice cream, watched some Olympics, had picnic lunches, got rained on, walked downtown Main Street of Breckenridge, did the alpine slides, painted pottery, ate pizza, went to church, slept, did nails, had an almond tasting party, and enjoyed a completely girly weekend.

Thank YOU to my amazing parents for hosting the getaway–it was a fabulous 4 days!

I truly savored every moment I had, and it was seriously life-changing. Nature can do that to ya. Oh, and my sisters & mom are incredible people, whom I admire & love. Thank YOU ladies for an incredible weekend!

My friends, remember what is MOST important in life. Take a few moments and just breathe, and be thankful for who you are, what you have, and what cool experiences life has brought you.

When is a moment recently that YOU just stopped and just breathed??! How was YOUR weekend!?
