Hey friends!! I am bbbbbaaaccckkkk!
I’m not going to lie, I kinda didn’t want to come back. If it hadn’t been for my husband, job(s), and you guys being here, I could’ve stayed another 3 weeks. No lie.
Here are some reasons why: I was with almost all my family. I was on a houseboat for 7 days. Every day was perfect weather. It was hot and sunny from 5 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. every day. We roasted marshmallows and made S’mores with Swiss chocolate. I rode jet skis and went tubing often. I swam around a half a mile in open water every day. I spent quality time with everyone in my family. I read 3 books and 4 magazines. I slept at least 9 hours every night. We were in a canyon that had no cell or Internet service (!!!!!) And I did not do much more than read, chat, nap, eat, swim, and play. Plus muuuuccchhh more. Hello perfect vacation!!
I am very blessed, and so grateful. I missed my husband like crazy though. When we do it again, he is definitely coming!
Thank you to all our amazing guest bloggers and writers. Aren’t they all just fabulous?! Check ‘em out if you haven’t yet!
K, I’ll share some pictures with you now (esp since I am beyond exhausted and don’t want to write), but there is more to come, don’t worry. Oh, and after the pictures is a sweet giveaway further down-so enjoy!!
Ultimate Views of my Houseboat Vacation to Lake Powell
These are some pictures of the gorgeous views that surrounded me for a week. We are lucky to live in such a beautiful world! I was reminded how healing, peaceful, and stunning nature is. I loved being surrounded by the raw beauty of it all. My pictures don’t do it justice really….but pretend you were there. Okay?
{do you like my burnt mallow?! hah}
{no makeup for 7 days too. It was rad.}

Alright, I’ve got a GREAT giveaway for you!
I heard about Kodiak cakes (whole grain flapjack mixes) from Kath and was intrigued. And then Ashley had ‘em all over her blog. YUMM. I had enough. I had to have some (and top it off with my homemade cinnamon syrup!)
I came in contact with the lovely Jessica of Baker Mills and she offered me a free voucher AND graciously decided to do a giveaway so 3 of you can enjoy Kodiak cakes too!
3 people will win a voucher for a free box of Kodiak Cakes! Wahoo! Oh, and now that Kodiak Cakes has announced that their boxes will be in Target stores nationwide, pretty much all of you get to enjoy the goodness of the cakes without having to travel far (or order in from their SLC bakery).
How to win:
Mandatory- Leave a comment below telling me what you would top your pancake/waffle with.
Optional- Leave a comment telling me you tweeted, Facebooked, or blogged about this giveaway (separate comments for each). Or follow me or Kodiak Cakes on Twitter (separate comments).
The Giveaway will close on Wednesday at 10 p.m. EST. After that I will randomly choose 3 winners and send them their vouchers. Good luck!
****
Have a LOVELY day, my friends.
**By the way, I will respond to all emails in the order they were received. Thank you for your patience as I settle back into ‘normal’ life again, I appreciate it.
