Heart Pumpin’ Workout

Hey friends! Happy last day of May! (That is totally nuts.)

Glad you all liked my weird-o combos yesterday…..oh wait, we’re all weird together! Most of you were like “um, I don’t think that looks weird.” Way to make me feel so much better about myself. Thank you 😉 I knew I could introduce you to people (in real life) as saying “my friend likes it too…..” because yep, we’re friends!

So, how are you doing? I am great! Busy, tired, happy, thankful, and sweaty.

Oh wait, not sweaty yet. But I will be…soon. And you will be too, after this workout! (All workouts found here)

I always love a workout that delivers it ALL, especially in a short amount of time. I created this workout so it can be done quickly, and you’ll work all the major muscle groups, including your heart. How does THAT sound?!

By the end of this workout I was a sweaty, happy mess. A great promise, much?! 😉

By the way, this is a nice way for the cardio queens to get their cardio, and the weight liftin’ lovers to get their weights in without sacrificing too much on either spectrum.

I like to make everyone happy :)

Thankful Thursday

  1. I am super thankful for my upcoming, much-need vacation!!
  2. I am grateful for the small things like having good toothpaste & floss, a dishwasher that works awesomely, and ice cream in teh freezer!
  3. I am very thankful for the sunshine on my face as I drive to go teach both in the a.m. and p.m.!! (Hello, SUMMER!)

  1. Today’s workout will be my final training run before the 5k I am racing on Saturday. Eeekk! I am getting a bit antsy. The workout you created looks like a winner for certain. Would you mind if I used it with the aerobics group at my church?

    Things I am thankful for today:

    1. My daughter’s laughter – Her giggles always make me smile even after a long/tiring day at work.

    2. The rain that my town received on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. We are the middle of a drought, so it was much needed. Now everything looks vibrant and healthy again.

    3. My upcoming date night with the hubby. I love having time for just the two of us.

  2. phew what a workout!! i love how awesomely challenging your workouts are!

    i did a 3 mile tempo run as part of my training plan and I will probably do some biking today as well…i know i’m definitely a cardio queen but I’m constantly trying to keep balanced with weights in there as well….today I am thankful for beautiful weather and also a date night with kevin, yay!

    My workout today:
    I ran 7.5 miles this morning and threw in a couple of sprints… OUCH! If I can move my booty and legs than I will try and do an upper body weight lifting session this afternoon. Hopefully my legs can get me there, lol.

    Cardio Queen or Weight lover?
    I’m a former cardio queen for sure, but newly lover of weights, so now I love both! Honestly there are days n ow that I wish I could just lift weights, but I have made some great friends in my fitness/spin classes and my running club that I would miss them… so I do cardio now more for social reasons, haha.

    What am I thankful for today?
    That I got my run over with! And for coffee… and that tomorrow is Friday :-)

  4. Awesome workout. I have to say I prefer weights over cardio but both are equally important in my weekly routines. Can’t forget yoga too :)
