Speedy Sweaty Treadmill Interval Workout (#2)

Oh hey there :)

So I forgot to mention that I did a guest post for Katie yesterday. Whoops. So yah, go check it out and read the awesome stuff she has posted for today too. K thanks.

Another shout out: miss Ashley. Can’t wait to try her super cool looking workout! Maybe I will do it on Christmas Eve and dress in red and green?! My sister will probably join me and we’ll be quite the sight. Now you wish you were going to be joining us, eh?? πŸ˜‰

As promised, I will be designing some treadmill workouts for ya and posting them for you. This one is legit. I mean, it is hard, fast, and sweaty. I almost died, but I didn’t. So we’re good.

Fast Sweaty Treadmill Interval Workout (#2)

This interval workout is designed to be short, sweet, speedy, and sweaty. (I like alliteration, by the way) πŸ˜‰ It is the type of workout where you only walk for the warm-up and the cool down minutes…..and you run hard in between, with short recovery intervals. Awesome.

*Of course please feel free to change the speeds if it is too fast or too slow for you.

Let’s just say that doing this workout made me, all of a sudden, want to be an olympic runner. It IS a speed workout after all–designed to get the body to learn to go faster!

This run was so empowering. I can, legit, run fast. (This is relative, of course). And I felt like I could do anything after accomplishing this.

Besides, you can do anything for 25 minutes πŸ˜‰

And remember, you promised you all would focus on upping your fitness game this month, so here it is, all written out for you. Now all you need to do is find a treadmill and park your butt on it.

P.s. because of wearing the BodyBugg I knew that I burned 321 in those 25 minutes! (and that is not including the couple of EPOC calories….more to come on that in a later post) It was a tad over 2.3 miles. Those are awesome stats before jumping in the shower to start your day. Just sayin’.

  1. Awesome workout!! I’m pinning it right now :). I would totally join you on Xmas eve to workout in red and green…that sounds awesome haha. I don’t mind running on the treadmill, especially when I’m doing intervals because it makes the time go by so much faster!

  2. AWESOME looking workout! i loved your last one, so i’m sure i’ll love this one too. i don’t mind the treadmill when i have an interval workout to do, otherwise i get bored if i’m doing a steady paced run.

    and PLEASE take a photo of your sis and you in the red and green attire while doing my 12 Days of Christmas workout – that’s awesome. πŸ˜‰
