Peach Obsession + Thankful Thursday

The end of Summer can mean only one thing (besides that this awesome CO vacation is coming to an end) : the end of delicious, juicy peaches.

I had no idea I loved peaches so much until this Summer–what have I been missing??

lovely peach tree

When we went peach picking a few weeks ago (we also got blackberries, remember??), I fell in love with the delicious, sweet taste of those globes.

I think my nephew agrees with that:

I feel the same way too, little guy

These globes of fruit boast much more than a sweet, refreshing taste, though!

Peach Stats

  • 30 calories for one peach
  • 1 gram of fiber

When clients ask me about which foods, meals, or recipes they could make to feed their bodies right, I simply explain that getting as much fruits and vegetables is the ticket to success in the health arena.

Check out what you can do with all that delicious peach/veggie combo:

yup, ticket to health

Recipe : salmon, spinach, almonds (all super foods), peaches!!,craisins, nuts, and goat cheese

Peaches can be a dessert too:

peach cobbler + fro yo!!

{recognize the fro yo??} I am telling ya, peaches are now a NEEDED Summer staple around here!

Thankful Thursday

  1. I am thankful for Summer and all its fun activities and fruits! It has been a fabulous one :)
  2. I am grateful for water slides.
  3. I am super grateful for a working ipod <—it is sometimes fickle on me.

YOUR turn : what Summer fruit do YOU need?? What are YOU thankful for today??
