Secret Ingredient

Hey all! Happy Memorial Day. I want to take a moment and thank all those who have served, are serving, and will serve to help keep this country safe and protected. In addition, I like this holiday because it gives a chance to step back from life and think about those who gave their lives for us. Makes me feel special, grateful, and humbled. So thank YOU out there!

So far I had a great weekend full of cleaning, organizing, good food and family. We are now with my husband’s family for the holiday today, so I slept in……and then got my ZUMBA on.

I danced, choreographed, and grooved to music on my ipod. I made up good Zumba moves, burned some Zumba calories, and got excited about teaching my next Zumba class soon (plus more features coming soon to you!)

Luckily his parents don’t think a thang about me bouncing around in their living room πŸ˜‰

Ate a delicious breakfast after:

raw oats+almonds+tons of cinnamon on bottom, granola+blueberries on top

I used to ‘hate’ blueberries. Who do I think I was??

This b-fast tasted like blueberry muffins in a bowl. Delish.

Later we’re going to go see Kung Fu Panda 2 with the nieces/nephew! I am stoked because the first Kung Fu Panda was hilarious. I am a movie quoter (anyone else??!), and my husband and I definitely use a few good lines outta that movie.

My secret ingredient (s) you ask? Having an amazing husband, a great family, personal daily meditation and spirituality, living an active lifestyle, and dancing daily :)

  2. Blueberry muffins in a bowl? Wanna make breakfast for me tomorrow morning?

    I zumba’d after work today (cardio party dvd) and was a sweaty mess by the end…I need to do it a few more times because some of the dances in that DVD was crazy intense and I felt like I was tripping all over myself.

    Hope you like the movie!!
