Hey guys! Glad you liked the idea of knowing/deciding when too much exercise is too much for the body-both mentally and physically. It is a touchy subject–but I believe we are all smart and can make good decisions based on the way our body feels and the attitude we have towards exercise in general. To read more about it, click here. Also, holler to all book lovers out there :) The best is curling up on a couch and getting lost in a book, no?? LOVE that feeling.

So, in case you’re wondering, I am not a 3x/day food blogger. If you couldn’t tell-haha. Not at all. And have no desire or plans to do that. I do applaud those who do and are–amazing!  I just enjoy blogging about living a healthy lifestyle, and having readers who feel the same way.

oh hello :)

I will almost every day throw in some pics of food, recipes, shenanigans, workouts, thankful thursdays, etc., but it will come as I feel like it should come. I don’t like ever feeling pressured to do something I don’t want to do….so, your regular checking back in here will keep you on your toes- ’cause you never know what I’m gonna throw at ya :) or how many times per day (usually between 1-2)

last night's dinner for us

On that note, enter the amazing and VERY random foods from last night and some from today (I do not post all I eat)

The mini pizzas were SO easy and quick. (I ate two and the husband ate the rest)

  • whole wheat english muffins
  • cheese
  • pizza sauce
  • toppings (chopped veggies, pepperoni for the husband, spices)

+ Salad

And this morning after I posted, I had oatmeal — see I was right usually after a pretty intense cardio workout (lots of running sprints + stairs) I want me some oatmeal

I love topping oatmeal with fruit preserves or honey because it is a little more natural sugar- ya know what I mean? :)

1/2 whole wheat pita + jam + red.fat cream cheese + nutmeg

I like a touch of sweetness at the end of a quite random, spicy lunch :) Anyone else love jam + cream cheese combo???? If you have never tried it, this is a MUST,  friends!
